Daniel Wåtz has practiced law since 1999 and he joined Danowsky & Partners in 2001. During the years 2007–2009 he worked as in-house counsel for Volvo Aero Corporation. In 2009 he re-joined the firm as partner.
Daniel Wåtz has a broad commercial law experience with focus on IT, technology and manufacturing industries. He assists clients on a regular basis in matters relating to IT outsourcing and system integration projects as well as software development and licensing. He also works with e-commerce, digital services and the protection of intellectual property rights on the Internet.
Daniel Wåtz is familiar with a wide range of manufacturing industry issues. He has extensive experience in fields such as research and development, OEM agreements, military projects, financing and state aid. As an earlier in-house counsel for Volvo Aero he is experienced in legal matters relating to civil and military development of aircraft, rockets and turbine engines.
Many of Daniel Wåtz’ assignments involve litigation and arbitration, mostly in the IT or technology sectors, or disputes involving intellectual property rights in general.
