During 2009, the firm was involved in several cross-boarder IT transactions
with aggregate contract values exceeding USD 100 million.
The technology-related matters that we have been involved in during the
last few years include assisting:

in analysing its agreements with a global IT company regarding an IT-based
debit system for official charges, and assisting in negotiations on the
handling of delays and increased implementation costs;
- an industrial consulting firm with
agreements concerning the dismantling of a turbine plant in an EU country, and
the transportation and reassembly of the plant in an eastern European country;
- a global IT group in negotiating an
agreement with a leading Scandinavian telecom operator for the implementation
of an IT platform for M2M communication;
- a listed energy company regarding a
Scandinavian co-operation establishing a prototype site for a new type of wind
turbine;
- a mining company in matters regarding the
alleged breach of environmental laws in relation to the storing of sand;
- a global technology firm in connection
with agreements relating to complex IT system delivery, implementation,
development and maintenance for various customers;
- a world-leading security solutions group
with the handling of legal issues relating to agreements for technical security
systems for the transport of valuables and money; and
- various Internet service providers and
companies offering on-line services with agreements relating to technical
platforms and the drafting of general conditions of use.
